[drinking a bit more wine...just a tiny bit, but it's enough to take effect '-'

now he is human and...sort of flailing and awkwardly falling over from his doggie crouch due to non-functioning limbs]

Unexpected, and also I think I'd rather have stayed a dog for this party.

ear-scratching feels less good in this form but he doesn't protest. not that he could...anyway, he's a little preoccupied with feeling weird things happening in his currently completely human body.]

That is definitely noticeable. The sudden lack of deep-rooted hostility makes her straighten her back immediately in interest and she pulls her hand away. ]

[ YOU'RE GETTING VERY HUNGRY, BARAKIEL. VERY HUNGRY. She probably doesn't even need to influence him now that he's all human, but she does a little bit anyway. ]

Now you get to experience how the other half lives.

Stuff like this is why bodies are perceived to be terrible by beings who don't naturally feel analogous urges.

And yet, you rather enjoy the petting when you're a dog. Maybe you'll enjoy the petting now that you're all human too.

I've been human-bodied for a long time. Longer than I've ever been dog-bodied, anyway.

Oh, so then it feels the same, does it?

Closer to normal than being a dog, I guess.

I mean, does the body feel the same as it usually does when you are an angel locked in a meat-suit.

[he wiggles his arms half-heartedly but of course he can't gesture at anything so he gives up with a huff]

[ She loosens her hold on him so that he can do just about everything but get up and completely walk away from her. ]

You're hungry. If you eat, it'll go away.

[ She picks up that chocolate cupcake and holds it out to him. ]

[the food here does weird things. that seems like a pretty safe bet. the question is, does he want to bet that whatever this chocolate cupcake is going to do to him is going to be something he can roll with???

on the other hand, another sad gurgle comes from his tummy. 8( but he isn't taking the cupcake yet...]

[ Cecil sighs when he doesn't take the cupcake from her palm, vaguely annoyed with how fiercely Barakiel is clinging to his... "angelhood". ]

If you don't eat it yourself, I'll make you eat it. You might as well enjoy your humanity while you have it.

[ At that, Cecil exerts her influence to make him take the cupcake, pressuring him with her power to make him take a bite out of it. ]

[fffffighting that... :(

ends up taking a tiny bite out of the cupcake though, and...immediately starts to blush]

Ugh...
