[ Her voice is a singsong as she leans closer. ]

[just kind of...sighs...through his nose. and also tries to lean away from Cecil because Cecil being so close is...distracting.]

Oh, the silent treatment, is it? Fine, fine.

[ Well, there's good news and there's bad news. The good news is that she doesn't force him to have more of the cupcake. She also doesn't use her powers of manipulation to force him to stay still. The bad news though is that she doesn't move away, but rather, once she's wiped the frosting from his face, she sets aside the napkin and comfortably drapes herself over his shoulders. She's practically nuzzling his face too, with her chest pressed tight to his bicep so he'll have to get a little rough if he wants to escape. She even transitions to her "human" form so that she looks just like she normally does, all silver and blue instead of the menacing dark shades of her Noah form.

Barakiel is seriously the least fun torture victim. He doesn't react. He doesn't care about being hurt or insulted. He barely even talks back. Thus, she's trying a different method: needling him along slowly until he loses his excellent self-discipline. She's not going to force herself on him really any more than this, wanting him to be the one to take action. ]

[letting the cupcake go with relief, but now more distracted than ever by Cecil's closeness. in her "human" form, it feels perilously easy to forget the costume that's affecting her right now, the familiarity of her light eyes and hair a definite relief.

but, even more than that...he can feel the chocolate cupcake working on his system, the heat in his face and the way he can't stop staring at Cecil's mouth. it takes him a moment to register her speaking to him, in fact.]

[ She smiles, finally pleased by the reaction she gets from him. As if to reward him for it, she begins rubbing his chest with her hands soothingly. ]

How truthful are you feeling? Still the same?

I guess so. The only way to tell would be to make me tell a truth I wouldn't say otherwise, wouldn't it?

[ She stops, but she keeps her hands on his shoulders at least, wanting the maintain contact to keep the pressure on him. ]

Why wouldn't you tell me the name of the demon you spoke of earlier?

I'm not sure what the exact charges were. "High crimes" was all that I was told. It doesn't matter; they were all spurious anyway.

Why would they bother making up spurious charges to execute you?
